The Flutteristas is a worldwide community of people active in the Flutter ecosystem. I attended some of their members' talks at Fluttercon, and many of those made into my favorite ones.

The cost of convenience

by Surma

This is an article that explores abstractions provided by web developing tools and frameworks. The same concepts remain valid for mobile software development. “The abstraction should rely on these skills to minimize cognitive friction by reusing concepts, and stagger the introductions of new concepts in the onboarding flow (i.e. tutorials, “Getting Started” docs, …). Every abstraction should ideally be optional (opt-in or opt-out) and come with escape hatches.” Is Flutter a good abstraction for you? What about the plugins and packages you use?
